This darling 18-measure piece is written as a "challenge piece", or recital piece for Wunderkey level 1 students.
The left hand includes mid-piece movements from C-position to Middle-C position. The right hand also has a mid-piece movement from Middle-C position up to Treble-C Position. For wowing a crowd, your student will learn an exciting left-hand over right-hand jump to high C.
Although 8th notes are not taught until level 1B, this piece has 8th notes, giving you a good opportunity to introduce that concept early.
You will receive two versions of this piece. The first has mostly whole notes in the left hand, and the second has mostly half notes in the left hand for those students who feel up to a challenge.
